The AK Club is a card club based in Maynooth Co.Kildare. As well as nightly games in the club AK (Adrian and Keith) run pub games in local area's like Enfield, Dunboyne and Kilcock. Open since early 2009 the poker hall caters for every type of poker player, from beginner level upwards. It has a friendly atmosphere with comfortable surroundings.
During its second year in business the Ak Club approched us to create a site for their massive player base to keep up with details on games, news and announcements. Like all good sites the idea was to offer information with a simple interface where a customer with any computer experience can find what they are looking for.
Nearly all the pages on theakclub.com are simple article layouts listing information on games, dates and times. We also placed a picture gallery, where customers can see pictures of the club and events that the AK Club have run, and a contact page with integrated google maps for directions to the club. To spruce up the homepage an image carousel was placed to show off welcome images,League details and a facebook link to follow the AK Club.
