The Irish Poker Lounge began in May 2010 and is one of Ireland's top Podcasts for professional and amateur poker players. Presenters Dara O'Kearney and Liz Mullally use their wealth of experience to bring exciting news, playing tips and interviews with the big-name players.

The Irish Poker Lounge was my first time working with streaming media, Dara and Liz needed the ability for players to listen to their regular podcasts with an embedded media player, allow players to download the podcasts directly in .mp3 format and subscribe to the podcasts through itunes.

From my previous work I was asking to create a logo for the Irish Poker Lounge, to create a simple yet clean layout and style for the site to keep it modern and easy to navigate. The site is designed to supply information on the podcast, details on the people involved and any updates.

To this I added an area for listeners to leave feedback and comments in the Guestbook area, podcasts can seem very one way and listener integration helps to create a stronger listener base. I also integrated a Links area to the site, this shows links the presenters use that listeners might find interesting, a twitter feed from players connected to the site and finally inviting links for players to join the Irish Poker Lounge on Facebook,Twitter and subscribe to the rss feed.
